Thank You to the CNAs!

Dear wonderful, caring, hardworking CNAs,

THANK YOU for being a nurse’s eyes and ears during a shift

THANK YOU for loving and caring for your patients and residents.

THANK YOU for being a positive and vital asset to the nursing team.

THANK YOU for providing dignified care to your patients and residents.

THANK YOU for reminding me of things I may have forgot.

THANK YOU for being kind and understanding when things are crazy and I feel like I am drowning.

THANK YOU for all you have taught me.

THANK YOU for finding ways to help me without even being asked.

THANK YOU for finding life threatening changes in our patients.

THANK YOU for reporting anything abnormal you find so it can be addressed.

I can say that every time I have a “good” shift where things go smoothly, one of the key factors is I have a hardworking and trustworthy CNA by my side! Knowing you have someone who is going to be another set of eyes and ears during your shift and help keep your patients safe, automatically makes for a better shift. It provides a sense of relief and relaxation working with someone you trust. I have been privileged to work with some absolutely wonderful CNAs and I am so blessed to have had them be apart of my team! CNAs are underpaid and sometimes are underappreciated, just like us nurses, so I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed with me. You are a lifesaver and caregiver. I hope you never shortchange yourself for how big of a part of the healthcare team you are, and how important your job is to the well-being of our patients. We are in this together, and I know I couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love you and all that you do!

CNAs are part of the nursing team! How wonderful it is to hear praise from a nurse! I know all the CNAs I know would appreciate your praise.
