I can say that every time I have a “good” shift where things go smoothly, one of the key factors is I have a hardworking and trustworthy CNA by my side! Knowing you have someone who is going to be another set of eyes and ears during your shift and help keep your patients safe, automatically makes for a better shift. It provides a sense of relief and relaxation working with someone you trust. I have been privileged to work with some absolutely wonderful CNAs and I am so blessed to have had them be apart of my team! CNAs are underpaid and sometimes are underappreciated, just like us nurses, so I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed with me. You are a lifesaver and caregiver. I hope you never shortchange yourself for how big of a part of the healthcare team you are, and how important your job is to the well-being of our patients. We are in this together, and I know I couldn’t do it without you.
