Happy Fourth of July! I work today, but I did get to enjoy a relaxing weekend of laying by the pool, good food, quality time with Bradley (the boyfriend), and an Independence Day Festival which included a Greenville Symphony Orchestra concert and fireworks!  Of course there was the obligatory homework and studying as well (nursing school is an every day event!)

Thank you to everyone who is working today, no matter your profession! To everyone who is enjoying the day off, please have some fun for the rest of us 😉 and remember to be kind and patient with everyone you encounter who is working. Please be safe today too, no nurse wants to see you in their ER!

I am headed off to work sporting some red, white and blue. I am proud to be an American nurse in this great country! Happy Birthday, America!
